 One remarkable photo. There was a time when it was unimaginable to think of being fifty years old...never mind attending your 50th High School Reunion. As classmates mingled through the crowd at our Newark High School 50th Reunion, it became apparent something really special was happening. Amazingly, there were fifteen classmates there, from the two 1947 first grade classes, at Roosevelt Elementary and Junior High School. The School is no longer called Roosevelt, but the bricks and the memories are still abundant, on Mt. Vernon and Quentin Roads.  Marilyn Roan, at the Quentin Road, Roosevelt Side Door. |
